DEMNER, MERLICEK & BERGMANN WINS 2 INTERNATIONAL AWARDS
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA – Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann of Vienna, Austria, has won a First Place Statuette and a Second Place Certificate of Creative Excellence in the international 2006 Mobius Awards.
The First Place was in Television-Humor went to "Church,” done for the lst Austrian Bartending School. The Certificate was for “Shower Curtain” for Momax Furniture Stores, which won in the Low-Budget Television Commercial category.
Two other Austrian companies, ORF Online and Teletext GmbH and AHA puttner red cell Werbeagentur, also won Second Place Certificates. ORF took the award in Online Image Building with its entry done for “ORF-SKI Challenge ‘06” corporate work. AHA’s Certificate was for “Blind Pilots” for the Community for the Blind, Vienna.
The competition, which is in its 36th year, attracted entries from 35 countries and awarded 143 Mobius awards, 128 Certificates and 10 student awards. Germany took the most awards, 97, followed by the United States with 88 and United Kingdom with 29.
