INDIAN AGENCY, STUDENT SCORES IN AD COMPETITION
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA – India took four awards in the 2006 International Mobius Advertising Award competition, including two in the new Student category.
Percept H Pvt. Ltd., of Mumbai won a Second Place Certificate in Brochure/Book with “HIV Positive,” for the charitable company One, Mumbai, and a Certificate in Print Advertising/Trade Publication category for “White” for client Oxemberg, Mumbai.
Student Kunal Thacker of Mumbai won awards for “Heart,” a poster relating the dangers of HIV-AIDS, and “The End,” a public service announcement pointing out the evils of female foeticide and infanticide. He is a student at MET’s Institute of Management.
The competition, which is in its 36th year, attracted entries from 35 countries and gave out 143 Mobius awards, 128 Certificates and 10 student awards. Germany took the most awards, 97, followed by the United States with 88 and United Kingdom with 29.
