PODCASTS WIN FIRST PLACE FOR NORMAN AGENCY

LOS ANGELES, CALIF., USA -- The Norman Agency in Toronto has won the first Mobius Statuette presented to a podcast. The agency was recognized by the international Mobius Awards for advertising for three of its podcasts in the series, “The CBS Report,” created for Canadian Broadcast Sales.
The podcasts were directed at radio stations, advertisers and ad agencies to highlight radio’s continuing relevance for both listeners and marketers in an ever fragmenting media landscape. “The CBS Report” covers a range of topics from how to create effective radio ads to a financial analyst’s view of the industry and radio’s ability to mobilize a community in a crisis.

The Mobius Awards is in its 37th year and drew entrants from 35 countries. The Norman Agency, headed by Jim Norman and Becky Trenton, was one of five Canadian winners. The agency receives a First Place Golden Statuette in the design of a mobius strip.
The Mobius Awards were presented Jan. 26 in Hollywood.
