CHINA SCORES 5 AWARDS IN MOBIUS AD COMPETITION

LOS ANGELES, CALIF., USA – Chinese advertising agencies have won five awards, including two First Places and a Student Award, in the 2009 international Mobius Awards competition.

TouchMedia, Shanghai, won two First Place awards for “H&M Interactive icon” and “Subway interactive icon.” The wins came in the New Media-Mobile Messaging/Marketing category. The Shanghai agency won a Second Place Certificate for Outstanding Creativity in the same category for “2010 Shanghai Expo.”

Also winning a Certificate was Shanghai Infinite Media & Advertising Co. Ltd., Shanghai, for “Art Work Series: Standee” for “Journey to the Center of the Earth” in Point of Purchase.

The Beijing Film Academy, Beijing, won two Student Awards for “Lab” and “Talking about success theory” in Television. The wins came in the Low Budget TV Commercial category.

The overall competition recognized competitors with 93 First Place Mobius Award golden statuettes, 105 Second Place Certificates of Outstanding Creativity, and 13 Student Awards. Twenty-nine countries participated and 20 produced winners in the 39th annual awards competition.
