EURO RSCG 4D CAPTURES 2 BEST OF SHOW NOMINATIONS FROM MOBIUS
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA – Euro RSCG 4D Amsterdam in The Netherlands has won four First Place awards and two nominations for Best of Show in the 2008 Mobius Awards international competition. The wins recognized work done for Volvo and for Kraft Foods’ Carte Noire coffee.
Mobius Awards, an international competition in its 38th year, drew entrants from 33 countries.
Euro RSCG 4D received four Golden Statuettes in the Online Advertising, Website: Flash category. Two were for “RUSH – An Interactive Adventure” created for the Volvo Ocean Race, which began in Spain last October. “Rush” was recognized for superiority in automotive advertising and for editing. The two awards for “Une Declaration Nommee Desir/The Coffee Named Desire” were given for superior advertising in Food, Beverages and for Original Music. Both entries are among nominees for a Best of Show Award in Online media.
In “Rush – An Interactive Adventure,” an ocean racing boat in distress at sea had to be rescued by users in their Volvo Ocean Racing edition vehicles within four minutes. Its intent was to demonstrate values of adventure and teamwork attached to Volvo products. During four or five minutes of the adventure, the user saw 20 minutes worth of film and sound.
“Une Declaration Nomme Desir/The Coffee Named Desire” was designed as a promotion to reach the 25-35 age audience for Valentine’s Day 2008. It featured Fabian, a French singer whose questions determined which song lyrics he would sing in a video clip sent to the user’s intended Valentine. The promotion also offered an opportunity to win a romantic holiday at an exotic location.
