SERVICEPLAN GRUPPE LEADS GERMAN AGENCIES IN MOBIUS AWARDS


LOS ANGELES, CALIF. USA – German advertising agencies, led by Serviceplan Gruppe GmbH & Co.KG, captured 85 awards in the 2009 international Mobius Awards competition. The wins included 38 first places and two Student Awards.

Serviceplan Gruppe GmbH & Co.KG, Munich, won six First Place Mobius Golden Statuettes. “Amnesty promotion: woman in a suitcase” won two Firsts, and “milk foam,” one, in Outdoor-Other. “Open Mail” won in Direct; “The first one-second commercials for super glue” Campaign in Television, and “A new adventure every day” Campaign in Online-Other.

The agency also won six Certificates of Outstanding Creativity for the following: “3958 mm” in Direct; “Book on paper handkerchiefs” in Point of Purchase; “Launch of the new BMW 7 Series and the largest online banner worldwide” in Online: Banners, Pop-Ups, etc.; “Onion calendar” in Print-Other; “Sound components” Campaign in Print-Consumer Magazine, and “The new MINI Convertible—always open” in Online-Other.

Ogilvy Frankfurt, Frankfurt, captured four First Place Mobius Statuettes, one for “Rellana Wooly Heads” in Package Design and three for “The Contemporary Beauty Ideal” Campaign, one in Outdoor-Other and two in Print-Consumer Magazine.
Ogilvy also won Certificates for “Notebook Folding Seat Promotion” and “The Poster Pillar Lighthouses for StopGlobalWarming.org” in Outdoor-Other, and for “Doorbell Sticker Promotion” in Direct Mail.

Euro RSCG Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf, won four First Place Statuettes for “Transparent Man” in Direct , Outdoor-Other, Point of Purchase and New Media-Other. “Hide and Seek Booklet” (Brochure/Book) and “Cornering Lights” (Print-Poster) won Certificates for the Düsseldorf agency.

Kolle Rebbe, Hamburg, won three Mobius Statuettes for “Powerfuel” and “Oil Change” in Package Design and “Dead or Alive-Poetry Slam” in Point of Purchase. Certificates of Outstanding Creativity came for “The Path from Addiction” and “Tiny Animals” in Outdoor-Other.

Publicis Frankfurt GmbH, Frankfurt, captured two Statuettes for “The Living Poster” in Outdoor-Other and “Good Night” Campaign in Print-Consumer Magazine. Certificates of Outstanding Creativity were won for “The Living Poster” in Outdoor-Other; “BBQ” in Print-Newspaper, and “Duck” in Print-Consumer Magazine.

KNSK Werbeagentur GmbH, Hamburg, won Mobius statuettes for “Superglue” in Cinema/In-flight and “Threatened Species” Campaign in Print-Consumer Magazine. The agency also won Certificates for “For pain you can barely describe” in Print-Consumer Magazine, and “”No Pain” Campaign in Print-Newspaper.

Winning two Mobius statuettes was SERVICEPLAN, Hamburg, for “No Escape” Campaign in Television and “Santec Screenguard” in New Media-Other. SERVICEPLAN also won a Certificate in Radio for “At the same time.”

Also winning two First Place Statuettes were MRM Worldwide GmbH and Neue Digitale/Razorfish GmbH, both of Frankfurt am Main. MRM’s wins were for “Opel Astra Visualizer” in Website: Flash and “Megawhoosh Project” in New Media-Virals. Neue Digitale/Razorfish won for “Playing the City” Mixed Media Campaign in Mixed Media/Integrated, and for “Audi Accessories Configurator on Microsoft Surface” in Point of Purchase.

Leo Burnett GmbH, Frankfurt, won a Mobius Statuette in Package Design and two Certificates in Outdoor-Other and Package Design for “Max Factor eye bag.” The agency also captured four Certificates, two for “The Fiat 500 hand dryer” and one each for “NABU-The beaver is back!” and “Frameposter,” all in Outdoor-Other.

Saatchi & Saatchi, Frankfurt, won a golden statuette in Print-Consumer Magazine for “Soundproof City” Campaign, and Certificates in Direct and Online-Banners, Pop-Up, Etc. for “Demolition Push Puppet” and “Everything Sounds.”

HEIMAT, Berlin, captured a First Place in Point of Purchase and a Certificate in Direct for “The House of Imagination” Campaign. Philipp und Keuntje GmbH, Hamburg, received a First Place Statuette in Direct and a Certificate in Outdoor-Other for “Balloon”; Heye, Group GmbH, Unterhaching, won a First Place Statuette for McDonald’s “24/7” in Print-Consumer Magazine and a Certificate for “Faces” in Television.

Winning a single Mobius statuette were: CLANMO GmbH, Cologne, for “Redesign Lufthansa Mobile Portal” in New Media-Mobile Messaging/Marketing; gudella, barche. Werbeagentur, Hamburg, for “HDI car park” in Outdoor-Other; Heye & Partner GmbH, Hamburg, for “Drooling Dog” in Outdoor-Billboard; Heye Digital Lab, Hamburg, for “Christmas Teddy” in Outdoor-Other; and, McCann Erickson Frankfurt GmbH, Frankfurt, a First Place Statuette for “Traveling Fruits” in Print-Consumer Magazine, and Scholz & Vollmer GmbH, Wiesbaden, a First Place for “Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe” in Website: Flash.

Winning Certificates were: Grobert & Grobert, Berlin, for “The Robbery” in Television; Lukas Lindemann Rosinski, Hamburg, for “The LEGO Codes” Campaign, two in Outdoor-Other, one in New Media-Mobile Messaging/Marketing, and one in Direct and one for “Lukas Lindemann Rosinski 2.0” in Website: Flash; .start gmbh, Munich, for “Dicktator Poster” in Print-Poster; argonauten G2-a member of Grey/G2 Group, Berlin, for “Digital Concert Hall” in Website: Flash; BUTTER, Berlin/Duesseldorf, Duesseldorf, for INTERSPORT SAEMANN “Flash-Billboard” in Billboard; Cohen + West, Hamburg, for “Au royaume des reves” in New Media-Virals; Final Touch Filmproduktion GmbH, Hamburg, for IFAW “Jumbo” in Television; McCann Erickson, Düsseldorf, for Toshiba “No Matter What” in New Media-Virals; Peter Kleine, Hamburg, for “Ben and Anna” in Cinema & In-Flight; Serviceplan Erste Werbeagentur GmbH, Munich, for “Planet Power” Campaign in Print-Consumer Magazine, and trio-group, Mannheim, for “Masterpieces” Campaign in Print-Poster.

Student Awards went to Thorsten Kleine Holthaus, Dortmund, for “Molecular Food” Campaign in Print-Other; and Pascal Nothdurft, Ludwigsburg, for “The Giant Thirst” in Cinema & In-Flight.

The overall competition recognized competitors with 93 First Place Mobius Award golden statuettes, 105 Second Place Certificates of Outstanding Creativity, and 13 Student Awards. Twenty-nine countries participated and 20 produced winners in the 39th annual awards competition.
