UK FIRMS CAPTURE 12 AWARDS IN MOBIUS AD COMPETITION
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA – UK advertising firms took 12 awards in the 2008 international Mobius Awards competition, including eight first places and three Best of Show nominations.
The Partners, London, won three Mobius First Place Golden Statuettes, two in Print – Logo/Trademark/Corporate Identity for “Office Games” for client Richard House Children’s Hospice, and “Wolf Thesis” for Wolf Thesis law firm, and another for “Davidoff Black and White brand book” in Brochure/Book. “Davidoff Black and White brand book” is nominated for a Best of Show award.
The firm also captured a Second Place Certificate for Outstanding Creativity for “The Grand Tour” for The National Gallery in Outdoor-Other.
Coley Porter Bell, London, won two statuettes for “Inishturkbeg-Brand Identity” for the private island Inishturkbeg and for “Museum of London” in Print-Logo/Trademark/Corporate Identity. “Museum of London” is also nominated for Best of Show. Coley Porter Bell won a Certificate for “Dylon-Fabric dye re-design” in Package Design.
Adelphoi Music Ltd., London, captured a First Place Mobius statuette and a Best of Show nomination in Television for a Gran Centenario tequila commercial, “The Calling.”
Williams Murray Hamm, London, won two Firsts, in Print-Logo/Trademark/Corporate Identity for “Waterbranding,” and in Mixed Media/Integrated Campaign for “Beazley” Mixed Media Campaign.
Winning single Certificate Awards were BrandOpus, London, for “Northern Foods – corporate identity redesign” in Print-Logo/Trademark/Corporate Identity; and, Junction 11, London, for its “Feet” Campaign for Ipsen in Print-Trade Publication.
Mobius Awards, an international competition in its 38th year, drew entrants from 33 countries. The competition awarded 105 First Place Mobius Statuettes, 114 Second Place Certificates and four Student Certificates.
