BETC Euro RSCG wins 13 awards in Mobius competition
LOS ANGELES, CALIF., USA – Work done for 13ème RUE cable network channel netted BETC Euro RSCG, Paris, Best of Show in New Media, plus three First Place Mobius Statuettes and two Certificates in the 2010 international Mobius Awards.
BETC Euro received First Places for “Jeteunami.com/ikillafriend.com,” in Direct, New Media-Other and Online-Website: Flash, as well as Certificates in Mixed Media and Online-Other.
13ème RUE is NBC Universal’s crime channel. The “Jeteunami.com” interactive project allowed a user to upload a photo of a friend he wants to eliminate and see a video of the murder. While this is happening, the victim gets an e-mail warning him he has been assassinated and inviting him to view the film of the attack. The victim can then run an investigation to find who planned the murder and why and be part of the arrest.
This promoted the network’s new signature: “13ème RUE unleashes the investigator in you.”
The project team included Creative Director Stéphane Xiberras, Art Directors Olivier Apers, Christophe Clapier and Ivan Beczkowski, and Copywriters Olivier Apers, Christophe Clapier and Ivan Beczkowski Web developers were Silvère Marecham, Jérémy Boutier and Abder Zeghoud. The director was Nicolas Benamou, and the production company was Dak Tirak, Paris.
The agency also won two First Places and a Certificate in Television for “Tick”; a First Place Statuette for “iPhone,” also in Television, and a Second Place Certificate in Cinema & In-Flight. It received Certificates for “Maison Close” in Online-Website: Flash and for “Walls are dancing” in Direct.
Euro RSCG C&O, Suresnes, received a Second Place Certificate for “Touring Test Ride” in Online-Website: Flash.
Mobius awarded 56 First Place Mobius Award Golden Statuettes, 63 Second Place Certificates for Outstanding Creativity, and one Student Award. Participating entries came from 33 countries, and 15 produced winners in this 40th annual awards competition.
