Aussies receive 11 awards in Mobius competition
LOS ANGELES, CALIF., USA –Australian advertising firms captured 11 awards in the 2011 International Mobius Awards competition. The wins included four first places.
Four firms won First Place Golden Statuettes. Alt Vfx Pty Ltd., Fortitude Valley, Queensland, won in Television for “Nocturnal Migration” and Animal Logic, Moore Park, New South Wales, in Television for “Shell.” Leo Burnett Melbourne won a statuette in Integrated Campaigns and a Second Place Certificate for Outstanding Creativity in Television, both for “See The Person.” OgilvyOne, Melbourne, captured a First Place statuette and a Second Place Certificate in Direct for “Sally’s First Show.”
DDB Group Melbourne won Second Place Certificates of Outstanding Creativity in New Media and in Integrated Campaigns for “Open Book.” Also winning Certificates were BCM Partnership, Brisbane, Queensland, in Television for “Help At Home”; Belgiovane Williams Mackay, Sydney, NSW, in Print for “Fish Fingers” Campaign, and, The Feds, Sydney, NSW, in Spec. Advertising for “Greatness.”
The competition recognized competitors with 65 First Place Mobius Award Golden Statuettes, 55 Second Place Certificates for Outstanding Creativity, three Student Certificates and one Certificate for Spec work. Twenty countries produced winners in the 41st annual competition, which drew participating entries from 29 countries.
