German ad firms capture 48 awards in Mobius competition

German advertising firms led by kempertrautmann gmbhhave won 48 awards, including 25 first places, in the 2011 International Mobius Awards competition.

The overall competition recognized competitors with 65 First Place Mobius Award Golden Statuettes, 55 Second Place Certificates for Outstanding Creativity, three Student Certificates and one Certificate for Spec work.

kempertrautmann gmbh, Hamburg, won 14 First Place Mobius Awards and five Second Place Certificates for Outstanding Creativity. Golden statuettes were won for “Germany Will Find You” in Direct and in Integrated Campaign, which also received a Certificate in New Media. First Place Awards also went to “The Missing Child” in both New Media and Outdoor; “Wall of Fame” in New Media: Specialty and New Media: Business/Commercial, and “Audi Fan Messenger” in New Media, which also won a Certificate in Outdoor-Live.

Also receiving First Place Awards were “A Sound Logo – Inspired By Hamburg” in Logo-Sound Design; “Görtz” 17 Shoelace Box” in Logo-Apparel & Footwear and another in Point-of-Purchase-Apparel & Footwear; “Jo Lee,” “Haze,” “Falanch” Campaign in Print-Illustration/Graphics; “Ostrich,” “Octopus,” “Beaver,” Penguin” Campaign in Print-Entertainment Media and another in Outdoor-Entertainment Media; “Prince,” “Fairy” Campaign in Radio-Entertainment Media

The agency won additional Certificates for “404 – Page Not Found” and “Edding Digital Highlighter,” both in Online; and, “Gecko” in Logo.

Kolle Rebbe / KOREFE, Hamburg, captured two First Place Awards for  “STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME!” in Cinema/In-flight-Music and Logo-Personal Care Products, as well as a Certificate in Package Design-Personal Care Products. Additional Certificates were won for “A Story Lost in Translation” in Brochure/Book; “Life is a Journey” in Cinema/In-flight-Services; Updated Every Second “Stone Thrower,” “Model,” “Soldier,” “Streaker” in Print; and, Zoomerama “Amazon,” “Nevada” Campaign in Radio.

Publicis Frankfurt, Frankfurt, won two First Place statuettes for “Egg Machine” in New Media-Charitable/Non-Profit and Outdoor-Charitable/Non-Profit, as well as a Certificate for “Burgulars – Piano,” “Burgulars – Horn,” “Burgulars – Accordion” Campaign in Print-Home Care & Maintenance Products.

Heimat Berlin, Berlin, won two golden statuettes, for “Every Change Needs a Beginning” in Television-Direction and “The Face of the Marathon” Integrated Campaign in Integrated Campaign-Specialty, as well as a Certificate in Integrated Campaign-Branding for “The Face of the Marathon.”

Euro RSCG Dusseldorf, Dusseldorf, captured First Place Awards for “Seismograph” in Television-Charitable/Non-Profit and for ”The Carpet” in Television-Personal Care Products. KNSK Werbeagentur GmbH, Hamburg, received a First Place Mobius for “Correction Fluid,” “Puncher,” “Stapler” Campaign in Cinema/In-flight-Business/Commercial, Second Place Certificates Outdoor and in Print for “Apple,” “Potato,” “Carrot” Campaign, and an additional for “Mermaid,” “Biopause,” “Petting Zoo” Campaign in Print.

Filmakademie Baden Surttemberg, Ludwigburg, won First Place for “Dirt Devil – Exorcist” in New Media-Home Care & Maintenance Products. Grey Worldwide GmbH, Dusseldorf, captured a First Place statuette for Sexidents “Backseat,” “Bush,” “Toilet” Campaign in Outdoor-Public Service Announcement.

Also winning Second Place Certificates was Leo Burnett Frankfurt, for “Fiat 500C Cinema Challenge” in Cinema/In-flight-Automotive; ISHR “Tourist Paradise” in Online-Charitable/Non-Profit; “Make the Car Follow the Ball” in Direct-Automotive; and, “Genetically Modified Balloons” and “NABU Nuclear Waste Mailing” in Direct-Charitable/Non-Profit.

Neue Digitale /Razorfish GmbH, Berlin, received a Certificate for “Oakley Lensguide” in New Media-Retail Stores, and, Neue Digitale/Razorfish GmbH, Berlin, captured a Certificate for “My Burger” in New Media: Recreation, Leisure & Travel. Doppelgaenger Film/Twin Film, Munich, earned a Student Certificate for “Hero.”

Twenty countries produced winners in the 41st annual competition, which drew participating entries from 29 countries.
